Michael Dennis Duran, 76 passed away peacefully on September 17, 2020. He is predeceased by his wife Arlene (Nee Dorko) and his parents, Michael and Helen Duran (Nee Straka). Dennis is survived by his loving daughters Catherine Lepp, Jennifer Tuffy (Mark), grandchildren Taylor, Gregor, Kaitlyn and Fraser, brothers Tom Duran (Martine), and Gary Duran (Anita) as well as many other family and friends. Dennis was born in Passaic, NJ and married his wife Arlene on May 4,1968. He loved to travel with his wife and family and has been all over the world. He had a great sense of humor, and was always quick with a good joke. Dennis graduated from Seton Hall University and was a member of Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity and the Army National Guard. He was an avid model train collector and loved watching Giants football and Yankees baseball. He also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and loved his dogs. Calling hours will be held Friday, September 25th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton Street Hightstown NJ 08520. Funeral home attendees are required to wear a mask and follow proper social distancing practices. Due to Covid gathering restrictions there will be a private family funeral service which will be held on Saturday September 26 at the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury, 22 South Main Street, Cranbury, NJ, funeral services will be live streamed on the First Presbyterian Church Facebook page. Friends are invited to attend the interment at Brainerd Cemetery, Cranbury at 11:45am.
