Silverito Ivanhoe Vitiello Obituary

Silverito Ivanhoe Vitiello affectionately known to many as “Don Ivan” passed away peacefully on February 22, 2021 at the age of 77 at his residence at The Chelsea at Forsgate. He born on Christmas Eve in 1943 in the Dominican Republic. He moved to NYC in 1963 where he met his soon to be bride, Eunice Bonnet, with whom he had 3 children. They moved to NJ where he later joined the US Air Force in 1973 in Fort Dix, NJ and in Texas. He was an avid golfer and loved to travel and spend time with his extended family. He worked as a contractor remodeling homes. Ivanhoe is survived by his 3 children. Arlene of Santo Domingo and married to Regil Herasme, Johanna of Hightstown, NJ and married to Edgar Hernandez and Ivan of San Francisco, CA married to Diego Rodriguez. His 3 grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Edgar Hernandez, Regil Ivan Herasme and Bianca Hernandez. He is predeceased by his father Silverio Vitiello Romano, his mother Margot Martinez Martinez and granddaughter, Arlene Nicole Herasme. He also survived by his life partner of over 3 years, Mary Mesita of Monroe Twp, NJ. The funeral service will be held at Barlow & Zimmer at 202 Stockton St in Hightstown, NJ on Thursday March 4, 2021 from 5pm to 8pm. Interment with military honors will be held 1pm, Friday March 19, 2021 at Ewing Cemetery, 78 Scotch Road, Ewing, NJ..
