Agnes Rose Faas

Agnes Rose Faas, 98, of Keansburg, passed away on Saturday, June 20th, at Bayshore Health Care, Holmdel. Agnes was born in Beaver Meadows, Pennsylvania, lived in Jersey City and Toms River, prior to moving to Keansburg over 20 years ago. She was retired from Block Drug Company Inc. in Jersey City, where she worked for 40 years. Agnes was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and the Bayshore Senior Center, where she enjoyed playing Bingo, cards, doing arts and crafts and spending time with her friends. She enjoyed shopping word finds and going out to eat, watching Dr. Phil everyday, but she loved spending time with Richie, Nikki, Jackie and Anthony. Agnes was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Mable Koehler; and her husband, Edmond (Eddie). She is survived by her niece Carolyn and William Hartsgrove of Keansburg; and two nephews, Robert and Julie Koehler of Delaware and John Koehler of Florida; many great nieces and nephews; and many great great nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, June 23rd from 4-7 PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Avenue, Keansburg. A religious service will take place at 6:30 PM and a private cremation will follow at Liberty Grove Crematory, Old Bridge. As per the regulations imposed through the State of New Jersey, there will now be a maximum of 50 people allowed in the funeral home at one time. In order to accommodate all of Agnes’s family and friends, we ask that you please be brief while visiting in order to make room for additional guest to pay their respects; we thank you for understanding.
