Aida Rivera
Aida Rivera, 94, of Hazlet, passed away on Monday, February 10th, at Anchor Care Nursing Home, Hazlet. She was born in Mayaquez, Puerto Rico, lived in Cliffwood Beach, prior to Moving to Hazlet in 1976. Aida was a nurse’s aide for Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel. She was an avid Yankees fan loved spending time with the family, seafood and going out to eat. Aida was pre-deceased by her husband; Angel Rivera in 2006. She is survived by her two sons; James Rivera of Florida and Edwin Rivera of Colorado; her daughter and son in-law; Elizabeth and Miguel Nievas Sr. of Hazlet; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday from 3-7pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. On Saturday there will be a 10 AM Mass at Our Lady of Fatima in Keyport. Entombment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.Obituary
