Andrea J. Gergely, 43, of Keansburg, passed away on Sunday, April 17th, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was born in Trenton, lived in Aberdeen and Middletown, prior to moving to Keansburg in 1992. Andrea was a CNA for Care One in Holmdel, a former 2nd Lieutenant for Aberdeen First Aid, enjoyed going on Cruises and loved animals. Andrea was pre-deceased by her parents Walter and Elsie Schmidt and Ann Smith. Surviving is her loving husband David Gergley of Keansburg, her son and daughter Matthew Gergley and Jessica DiGregorio of Keansburg; 2 brothers Stephen Schmidt of Hazlet and David Schmidt of Virginia; her mother and father in-law Marion Murdoch of Howell and Edward Gergely of Florida and Many other family members. Family will be accepting friends on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private.
