Anna M. Vargas Dorsey Bohn, 85, of Keansburg, passed away Friday, Sept 25, at Madison Center, Matawan. She was born in Puerto Rico, lived in West Keansburg, prior to moving to Keansburg. Anna worked at the family business, Dorsey Auto Body, in West Keansburg for many years and was also employed at Riverview Medical Center, as a certified nurse aide. She was a communicant of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Keansburg, a member of the Alter Rosary Society, the Columbianettes, Past State Grand Regent of the Catholic Daughters, a member of St. Ann's choir, ran St. Ann's bingo, along with playing bingo and was very devoted to her family. Anna is predeceased by her first husband Elbert F Dorsey in 1972 and her second husband Daniel Bohn in 2004, and her son Thomas in 1999. She is survived by 3 sons, Elbert of Florida, Stephen and Ronald both of Keansburg; 2 brothers, Vincent Vargas of California and Victor Vargas of New York; 6 grandchildren, Tom, Brian, Patty Ann, Stephen, Samantha, and Zackary, and 6 great grand children. Family will be accepting friends on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:15 am Tuesday at St. Ann's Church, Keansburg, with the burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, Keyport.
