Ariel A. Rivera “John”, 36, of Keansburg, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 2nd, at home. He was born in Freehold, lived most of his life in Highlands, prior to moving to Keansburg 10 years ago. John attended Henry Hudson High School in Highlands and worked in construction, he enjoyed the beach, baseball and loved spending time and having adventures with his children. Surviving is his mother and step-dad Maria and Francisco Vasquez of Laurence Harbor; his father Aniano Rivera Jr. of Puerto Rico; his fiancé Florence Cosentino of Keansburg; his son Johnathon Rivera of Keansburg; his daughter Amya Rivera of Keansburg; three Sisters Melissa Rivera and Jennifer Rivera of Keansburg, and Angela Rivera Poling of Keansburg; his maternal grandmother Carmen Martinez of Laurence Harbor; many nieces, nephews, uncles and extended family members. Family will be accepting friends on Monday, from 6-8pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Burial will take place Tuesday at 10:30am, Bayview Cemetery, Leonardo.
