Barbara A. Betances, 72, of Atlantic Highlands, passed away on Saturday November 20th, at King James Care One Nursing Home, Atlantic Highlands. She was born in Long Branch, grew up in Linden, lived in Keansburg, prior to moving to Atlantic Highlands in 1972. Barbara was a homemaker and in her spare time she also sold Avon and was a telemarketer. She member of the Keansburg Pentecostal Church, Keansburg. Barbara will be remembered for the love she had for her family, spending time with her grandchildren, and her hours on the phone with friends and family all over the country. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Ramon in 2006 and her daughter Michelle in 1992. She is survived by her son and daughter- in- law Raymond and Lisa of Keansburg; 3 grandchildren, Nicolle, Stephanie, and Noah; and a great grand son, Sage. In Lieu of flowers donations can be sent to The Keansburg Pentecostal Church children's camp fund. Family will be accepting friends on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9 pm at the Jacqueline M Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave Keansburg. Tuesday evening 8:30 pm there will be religious service at the funeral home. Internment will be on Wednesday at 11:30 at Fairview Cemetery.
