Barbara Louise Smith, 72, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully on Wednesday April, 23rd, surrounded by her family. She was born in Jersey City, Lived in Keansburg, prior to moving to Hazlet 8 years ago. Barbara was a Nurses Aid for Beachview Nursing Home, Keansburg. She loved Bingo and enjoyed the outdoors and the beach. Barbara was pre-deceased by her husband Charles Smith and her son Charles Smith. Surviving is her life partner of 32 years Francis Taylor Sr. of Atlantic Highlands; 2 sons and daughters in-law Francis and Alexandra Taylor Jr. of Hazlet and Peter and Renee Mastres of Pennsylvania; 3 daughters and son in-law Sandra and Thomas Donohue of Union Beach, Rhonda Jelinski of Keansburg and Denise Smith of Keansburg; 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
