Dennis W. Hawk Sr., 71 of Keansburg, passed away on Thursday, January 21st, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He was born and raised in Jersey City, prior to moving to Keansburg 6 years ago. Dennis worked for Hall Refrigeration Warehouse, loved traveling to Atlantic City and playing poker. Dennis was pre-deceased by his beloved wife Eleanor Hawk in 2014 and his 3 brothers Harry, George and Raymond Hawk. Surviving is his son and daughter in-law Dennis Jr. and Leslie Hawk of Pennsylvania; his daughter and son in-law Sandy and Dan Bauman of Keansburg; 4 sisters Vivian Shara of Bayonne, Doreen Clappsy of Jersey City, Marlyn Hawk of Jersey City and Eleanor Mason of Jersey City; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Burial will take place on Wednesday at 11:30am, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
