Diane F. Beatty, 77, of Keansburg, passed away surround by her loving family on Tuesday, February 25, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was born and raised in Freehold, prior to moving to Keansburg 48 years ago. Dee worked for Creative Space as a shipping manager. She was a past charter member of the Keansburg Police Wives, former owner/operator of Keansburg AC and Spa and former owner/operator of the Flamingo Hotel, she also worked as a waitress for many years for the Marina Diner, also worked as a bartender at the Ye Cottage Inn and Stubby’s. She loved her grandchildren and her fur babies, the sound of the pipes on a Harley, roses, Boston crème donuts, and sunsets on the beach. Diane is predeceased by her first husband, Warrant Officer, Don Harger Sr. and her son Frank Harger. She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, James G. Beatty Jr; two sons and daughter in-law, Don Harger Jr. of Middletown, James and Sandy Beatty; a daughter, Tracy Beatty of Keansburg; a brother, Fred Frick of Maryland; two granddaughters, Hannah and Emma Beatty; many nieces, nephews, other family members, and many dear friends. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, February 29 from 12-4 PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Avenue, Keansburg. There will be a religious funeral service held at the funeral home at 3:30 PM. Cremation will be private.
