Donald D. Bergquist, 71, of Atlantic Highlands, passed away on Wednesday, October 11th, at Regency Park Nursing Home, Keyport. He was born in New York City, lived in Hasbrook Heights, prior to moving to Atlantic Highlands 30 years ago. Donald was a shoe salesman for Lord & Taylor in Eatontown. He loved Cars; enjoyed all types of music and working on electronics. Donald loved Hershey Bars and was a big movie buff. He is survived by his loving wife; of 27 years Peggy Bergquist of Atlantic Highlands; his sister and brother in-law; Jean Bergquist and Daniel Sanchez of California; many nieces and nephews; and his best friend Spike the dog. Arrangements were under the direction of the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation was private.Obituary
