Donna Knapp-Pellegrino, 57, of Whiting formally of West Keansburg, passed away on Saturday, April 29th, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was born in Long Branch, lived in West Keansburg, prior to moving to Whiting 8 years ago. Donna graduated from Lillian Drive School and Raritan High School; she was a former letter carrier for several post offices and was a bus driver for Helfrich and Durham for many years. Donna loved trips to Atlantic City, she loved the pool and the ocean, she also enjoyed watching sunsets. Donna was pre-deceased by her father Donald Knapp and her brother Edward Knapp. She is survived by her son Thomas Pellegrino of Old Bridge; two daughters Elizabeth Pellegrino of Jackson and Jennifer Pellegrino of Toms River; her mother Elizabeth Knapp of West Keansburg; her brother Donald Knapp of West Keansburg; her sister Brenda Worth of Keansburg; 7 grandchildren Xavier, Jason Jr., Cayden, Jada, Jayden, Leiah and Ava; her boyfriend (companion) George Bachman; Many aunts, uncles and extended family. Family will be accepting friends on Friday from 6-8pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private.
