Dorothy Carruthers
Dorothy Carruthers, 81, of Keansburg, passed away on Saturday August 20th, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. She was born and raised in New York prior to moving to Keansburg in 1994. Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of the Bayshore Senior Center. She also was a Bingo caller, helped serve lunches for the senior center and loved spending time with her family. Dorothy was pre-deceased by her husband Joseph in 1984. Surviving is her daughter Debbie Carruthers of Union Beach; 3 grandchildren Kathleen Helwig of Port Monmouth, Joseph Bertorelli of Union Beach and Anthony Bertorelli of Norfolk Virginia; 2 great grandchildren Haley and Emily and many nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements where under the direction of the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Services will be private.
