Edna M Laughlin, 94, of Kansas City formerly of Port Monmouth, passed away on Thursday October 8th, at home. She was born in Brooklyn, lived in Port Monmouth, prior to moving to Kansas City 9 years ago. Edna was a laborer for A & P in Brooklyn was a member of the Middletown First Aid and Rescue Squad Auxiliary and a member of the columbianetts. Edna was pre deceased by her husband Gerson in 1965. Surviving is her son Clifford of Missouri. 2 daughters and son in-law Anita Jones of Florida and Marjorie and George Jeffrey of Missouri, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Family will be accepting friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday 9:15AM at St. Catherine's Church Middletown. Internment to follow at Long Island National Cemetery.
