Edward James Lofano, 84, of Middletown, passed away on Friday February 5th, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was born and raised in Jersey City, prior to moving to Middletown 50 years ago. Edward was a ships cook for the US Navy and a butcher for A&P; he will be remembered for his love of cooking and his love for the Racetrack. Surviving is his loving wife of 56 years Anne Lofrano of Middletown, his son James Lofrano of Morganville and his sister Rita Pugliese of Toms River. Arrangements were under the direction of the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Letters of condolences can be sent to www.jacquelinemryanfh.com
