Francis "Bernie" Stover, 88, of Keansburg, passed away on Tuesday March 17th, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, He was born in Harrison and lived in Keansburg all his life. Bernie was a chief operator-mechanic for National Lead in Sayreville for 34 years, was on the Keansburg First Aid Squad, was the Treasurer of Rumson Hash House Harriers and enjoyed fishing and clamming. Bernie also was an Army veteran of war in WWII. Bernie was pre-deceased by his 2 brothers Harry and Fred Stover and his grandson Kevin Stover. Surviving is his loving wife Marie Stover of 66 years, 3 sons and daughter's in-law Gary Sr. and Rose Marie Stover of Fair Haven, Glenn and Patty Stover of Maine and Steven Stover of NC. 8 grandchildren Gary Jr., Amy, Dawn, Rachel, Skyla, Marina, Jessica and Tammy. 5 great grandchildren Michael, Isabella, Nicole, Madison and Liam. Family will be accepting friends on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. A mass of Christian burial on Saturday at 10:00AM St Ann's Church Keansburg, Internment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery Middletown. Letters of condolences can be sent to www.jacquelinemryanfh.com
