Geoffrey V. Schaller Jr, 52 of Union Beach, passed away Sunday, December 1st at home. He was born in Red Bank and lived most of his life in the Bayshore area. He obtained his Architectural Degree from the University of Framingham in Massachusetts and was a Master Carpenter. Jeff or “Fuzzy” as some of his loved ones called him, loved the beach, fishing and being outdoors especially with his son who was his world. Jeff was a loyal friend to all. He served his country from 1988-1989 in the Army and was a sharpshooter. Jeff is predeceased by his parents, Geoffrey Schaller Sr. and Jean E. (nee) Hunter Schaller. Jeff is survived by his son, David of Middletown; Michelle Bleibdrey (David’s mother); his 3 step-children, Van, Taryn and Katie of Middletown; his sister and brother in-law, Simone and Ken Dannecker of Union Beach; his nephews, Ken Jr. and Alex and his niece, Nicole, as well as many extended family members and friends. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday from 6-8 pm for a celabration of life at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. In lieu of flowers the family will accept donations towards David’s college fund.
