Gregory Scott Prentiss, 56, of Toms River passed away on Saturday, May 23rd, at home. He was born in Newark lived in Keansburg, prior to moving to Toms River. Gregory was a carpet installer for Professional Carpet by Eddie. He was an avid Giants fan, enjoyed fishing and loved helping people; Greg would give you the shirt off his back. He is survived by his parents, Edward J. and Louise Prentiss Sr. of Toms River; three brothers and sisters in-law Edward J. and Sharon Prentiss Jr. of Keansburg, Michael and Florence Prentiss of Texas and Jeffery and Christine Prentiss of Toms River; his sister, Barbara Prentiss of Toms River; his god daughter, KayLynn Prentiss; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Arrangements are entrusted to the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg.
