Howard W Schweer

Howard W. Schweer, 95, of Keansburg, passed away on Sunday, January 19th, at home. He was born in Lyme, New Hampshire, lived in West Orange, prior to moving to Keansburg 42 years ago. Howard served in the US Army in 1943. He was a retired roofer, an avid Mets fan. He enjoyed making things out of wood, loved gardening, cooking, being outdoors and dogs. Howard was pre-deceased by his wife; Rose Schweer in 1986; his daughter; Kathleen Boettinger and Marty the dog. He is survived by three daughters and sons in-law; Roberta and Ralph Kries of Lakewood, Rose Marie and Ted Csik of Keansburg and Florence Myers of Bellville; 16 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday from 9-11AM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Entombment to follow at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls.
