Iris N. Rodriguez, 67,of Keansburg, peacefully passed away at her home with her family by her side. Born in Hatillo, Puerto Rico, at the age of one years old her parents moved to Brooklyn NY, where she grew up and raised her two children. She moved to New Jersey in 2005. She was a family oriented woman, dedicating her whole life to her children and grandchildren. She loved Sunday mass, bingo, cards, the news and soap operas.She was a good hearted person and was loved by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her parents, Juan and Ramona Novoa;her daughter, Cruz Marrero; and her lifetime partner Jose Correa. She leaves behind her daughter, Zoraida Rodriguez of Keansburg; her son, Jose Correa of Keansburg; nine grandchildren,and four great grandchildren. Her sister and brother in law, Maria and Edward Jones of Long Branch; and her niece and nephews. Due to the current corona virus crisis, the Rodriguez Family would like everyone to know that despite their desire to have everyone pay their respects, a private visitation will take place for immediate family only and the cremation will be private.
