Istvan "Steve" Wanko, 54, of Keansburg, passed away on Monday, September 29th, at home. He was born and raised in Union, prior to moving to Keansburg 10 years ago. Steve was a Maintenance worker for New Jersey Transit; he loved bow hunting and fishing. Surviving is his wife of 10 years Vicky Lynn Wanko; 3 sons and daughter in-law Steven and Karen Wanko, Nicholas Wanko and Ryan Wanko; his sister Helen Mercado and his granddaughter Paige. Family will be accepting friends on Saturday 3-5PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private.
