Joseph “Biach” Oliva Sr., 59, of Keansburg, passed away on Thursday January 13th, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He was born and raised in New York prior to moving to Keansburg 36 years ago. Joe worked for the Department of Transportation as a driver for SCAT of Monmouth County. Joe was also known to many as Pops and “The Voice Of The Titans”, was an avid Yankees fan, a member and a past president of the Keansburg Booster club. Joe was pre-deceased by his parents Frank and Josephine Oliva. Surviving is his loving wife of 36 years Marie Oliva of Keansburg, a son and daughter in-law Joseph Jr. and Rachael Oliva of Keansburg, 2 daughters Gina and Christine Oliva of Keansburg, 2 brothers and a sister in-law Frank Jr. and Judith Oliva of Hazlet and Vincent Oliva of Keansburg, his sister Kathryn Oliva of Keansburg, His granddaughter Scarlet and 3 nephews Frank Oliva III, Christopher Oliva and Chase Rivas. Family will be accepting friends on Sunday 2-9PM at The Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. On Monday at 10:00AM there will be a service at the funeral home. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Judes Children's Hospital. Letters of condolences can be sent to www.jacquelinemryanfh.
