Josephine Werner, 91, of Holmdel, passed away on Thursday, March 10th, at home surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Newark, prior to moving to Holmdel in 1958. Josephine worked as an aid for Indian Hill School, many years ago she also worked at Bell Labs for over 20 years before retiring; she enjoyed Bingo and trips to Atlantic City. Josephine was pre-deceased by her husband John Werner in 1967. Surviving are her 3 sons and daughter in-law Robert and Holly Werner of Manchester, Thomas Werner of Holmdel and John Werner of Holmdel; her sister Helen Freeman of Freehold; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation was private.
