Laurence Voorhees Obituary

Laurence G. Voorhees, 60, of Keansburg, passed away on Thursday October 13, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He was born and raised in New Brunswick, prior to moving to Keansburg 26 years ago. Laurence was a trucker's helper for McGlocklin Magic Fleet, he was an adherent of the Salvation Army, enjoyed motorcycles, cars and attending shows and loved spending time with his children. Surviving is his loving wife of 13 years Rebecca Voorhees of Keansburg; his 2 step sons Thomas Kleissler Jr. and Jason Kleissler of Keansburg; 2 brothers Roy Voorhees of Spotswood and David Voorhees of Virginia; his sister Teri Mashanski of Spotswood and 2 step grandchildren Jarrett and Logan Walsh. Family will be accepting friends on Monday from 7-9PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private.
