Leo W. Harvey, 71, of Middletown, passed away, Monday, October 19, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Mr. Harvey was born in Bronx, NY, lived in Newark, until moving his family to Middletown in 1975. He was a retired truck driver for Economics Laboratory, Avenel for 30 years. Leo was a devoted and loving husband, dad, grandfather, and great grandfather; he enjoyed outdoor sports, and spending time with his sons at the Central Jersey Rifle and Pistol club. He was predeceased by his wife, Sally in 1998. Surviving are three sons and daughters in law, Frederick and Grace Harvey of Middletown, Robert Harvey of Keansburg and Ronald and Chantal Harvey of Middletown; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Family will be accepting friends on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. On Friday there will be a 10:00AM religious service at the funeral home, internment to follow at Shoreland Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hazlet.
