Leon L. Walker, 85, of Matawan passed away on Sunday August 1st, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. He was born in Meridian Mississippi and lived between Keyport and Florida most of his life. Leon was a welder for D&W Welding in Keyport, was a member of the VFW and The Elks in Bonita Springs Florida and enjoyed fishing and poker. Surviving are his 2 brothers; Bill Fontaine and George Fontaine of Alabama, his wife; Elaine Serpico of Keyport and close family friend Jenny Russo. Arrangements where under the direction of the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private. Letters of condolences can be sent to www.jacquelinemryanfh.com
