Linda M. Alfonso 62, of Hazlet, passed away on Saturday, January 11th at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. She was born and raised in Jersey City prior to moving to Hazlet 32 years ago. Linda was a retired Type setter for Amex American Stock Exchange in New York. She was an avid Miami Dolphin’s fan, enjoyed going to the Long Branch board walk, but most of all she enjoyed going to Atlantic City with her family. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Rosemary Alfonso. Surviving are brother and sister in-law, Joseph and Peggy Alfonso Sr. of Bayonne; a sister, Joanne Formon of Bayonne; and two nephews Arthur Formon of Bayonne and Joseph Alfonso Jr of Chicago. Family will be accepting friends on Tuesday from 3PM-7PM at the Jacqueline M Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave, Keansburg. A religious service will take place here at the funeral at 6:30 pm.
