Linda M. Cumiskey, 63, of Keansburg, passed away on Saturday, Dec 26, at home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Manhattan, NY, lived in the Bronx, before moving to Keansburg 40 years ago. Linda was employed at several nursing homes in Monmouth County for the last 23 years, but the most recent was Care One in Holmdel, as a supervisor of housekeeping. Linda was known as the "caregiver" to all, she loved to dance, and loved her family. Mrs. Cumiskey was predeceased by her, parents, stepfather, and 3 brothers; Thomas, Joseph, and Brian. Surviving are her loving husband of 41 years, Richard "Dicky"; 2 sons and daughter in law, Michael Rowe and Richard and Margaret Rowe; 2 brothers and sister in law; Daniel Walsh and James and Debbie Cizike; a sister, Barbara Connolly; 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Family will be accepting friends on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave Keansburg. There will be a religious service Tuesday evening at 8pm. On Wednesday an entombment will take place at 11am at Fairview Cemetery, Middletown. In lieu of flowers donations to the family will be greatly appreciated.
