Linda Pontone Snyder, 58, of Keansburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 14th, at home. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, prior to moving to Keansburg in 1992. Linda was a cook for the Keyport school system; Linda was a Senior Technical Assistant at AmWINS Groupeing Inc. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and walking her dog “Girl”. Linda enjoyed a nice sunny day gardening and feeding the birds, boating with her husband, baking and crafting with her grandkids. She loved being with her family especially enjoying a nice summer day by the pool. Linda loves a good song that would make you dance especially when the sun was shining . She loved her family her daughter made her proud everyday. Linda will be missed dearly by all. Linda will peacefully live eternally with her parents Enrico and Carmela Pontone and her nephew Devin Malachowsky. She has become the light of her family who will miss her smile everyday but will know she is with them always! Linda is survived by her loving husband of 30 years; Richard Snyder of Keansburg; two sons and daughter in-law; Randy and Jennifer Snyder of Keansburg and Ryan Snyder of Keansburg; her daughter and son in-law; Melissa and Mark Herbert of Staten Island; her brother; Michael Pontone of Brooklyn; three sisters and a brother in-law; Diana and Gary Daniels of Brooklyn, Susan Pontone of Long Island and Annette Pontone of Florida; her sister in-law Liz Jose of Keansburg, her grandchildren; Andrew, Justin, Emma, Dylan, Kayla, Michael, Ryan and Bryana, and her nieces and nephews of Keansburg, Sean McLane, Timmy and Jessica McLane and Lauren Snyder. Arrangements were under the direction of the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private. A memorial mass will be announced at a later date.
