Loretta M. Dickey, 65, of Belford, passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, December 24th, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was born in South Amboy, raised in Cliffwood Beach, lived in Monmouth Beach, prior to moving to Belford 35 years ago. Loretta was a Bartender for many years at the Wagon Wheel and Stadium in Keansburg; she also was a Legal Secretary for David Weinstein. She loved gardening, crafting and shopping. Loretta was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and loved her family very much. Loretta was pre-deceased by her parents and many brothers and sisters. Surviving is her loving husband of 42 years Joseph Dickey Sr. of Belford; two sons William Slover of Florida and Joseph Dickey Jr. of Keansburg; 3 daughters and sons in-law Salli and Edward Foster of Keansburg, Tara and Mike Thomas of Belford and Jolynn and John Foster of Port Monmouth; five brothers Daniel Slover, Arthur Slover, Henry Peter Slover, George Slover and Leroy Slover; three sisters Nancy Murphy, Donna Cochran and Florence Thorne; ten grandchildren Michael, Ashley, Brianna, Joseph, Matthew, Anna, William, Zachary, Holly and Jenna; two great grandchildren Averie and Anthony. Family will be accepting friends on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. On Wednesday there will be an 8:30pm service at the funeral home.
