Mary DeSantis, 91, of Keansburg, passed away on Friday May 1st, in South Carolina, She was born and raised in Newark, prior to moving to Keansburg 45 years ago. Mary was a Seamstress for the Slip Factory in Newark, loved Bingo, Atlantic City and the Track. Mary was pre-deceased by her parents Aniello and Nicoletta Senatore. Surviving is her son Ronald DeSantis of Cliffwood, 6 daughters and sons in-law Jeannie Senatore of Belford, Mildred and Fred Hettinger of Old Bridge, Barbara DeSantis of Belford, Helen Fiore of Keansburg, Phyllis and Nicky Siciliano of Keansburg and Debbie and James McMenemie of Middletown. 2 sisters Helen Ferrara of Newark and Viola Cantagallo of Neptune. 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren and her dear friends James and Robert Maxson. Family will be accepting friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday at 10:15AM. Entombment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Letters of condolences can be sent to www.jacquelinemryanfh.com
