Michael “Shades” A. Wickham, 80 of Hazlet, passed away on Thursday, April 10th, at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Newark, and has been a life-long Resident of Hazlet. Michael was the owner operator of the Water Balloon Race Game, on the Keansburg Boardwalk. He traveled the country with his game trailer, enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was an all-around great guy. Michael was pre-deceased by his 2 brothers and sister Charles Wickham, John “Sonny” Wickham and Grace Buttler. Surviving is his loving wife of 10 years Debra Muso-Wickham of Hazlet; 2 step daughters Chastity Drescher and Christina Drescher of Keansburg; his sister and brother in-law Helen and Larry Brock of North Carolina and 5 step grandchildren Arianna and Angel Torres, Patrick and Vanessa Drescher and Zyasia Henson all of Keansburg; many nieces and nephews. Family will be accepting friends on Sunday 2-6 PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. On Monday there will be a 9:00AM Mass at St. Ann’s Church, Keansburg.
