Richard Roberts, 68, of Atlantic Highlands, passed away peacefully at home. He was born in Garfield, lived in Elizabeth and Keansburg, prior to moving to Atlantic Highlands 6 years ago. Richard was the manager of Richie’s Coffee Shop located at the Union County Court House; he was an avid Mets and Jets fan, loved country music and John Wayne movies. Surviving is his loving wife of 42 years Kathleen Roberts of Atlantic Highlands; his daughter and son in-law Jennifer and John Wetzler of Linden; 3 sisters Marilyn Dunlap of East Windsor, Barbara Harayda of Branchburg, Kathleen White of Virginia and his granddaughter Charlotte Wetzler of Linden. Family will be accepting friends on Sunday 3-5PM and again on Monday 10-11am at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg.
