Rosaria Lodato Obituary

Rosaria Lodato, 79, of Middletown, passed away on Thursday May 3rd, at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Naples, Italy, sailed to America in 1954 on the USS Constitution. While living in Newark she met her husband Frank prior to moving to Middletown over 47 years ago. Rose was a home health aide for the Visiting Nurses Association. She was very active with the Middletown Seniors at Crayden Hall, enjoyed cooking and trips to Atlantic City. Rose was pre-deceased by her son Jerry Lodato in 2008. Surviving is her loving husband of 55 years Frank Lodato of Middletown; her son and daughter in-law Frank W. and Anne Marie Lodato of Tinton falls; 2 daughters and son in-law Sondra and Robert Bandy of Middletown and Sabrina Lodato of Middletown; her sister Lena Davanzo of East Hanover; 3 grandchildren Michelle, Danielle and Megan Lodato. Family will be accepting friends on Sunday 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. On Monday there will be a service at the funeral home at 11AM, burial to follow at the New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown.
