Salvatore Patrick Parker Keansburg, New Jersey Obituary

Salvatore Patrick Parker

Salvatore Patrick Parker, aka Big Daddy, 53 of Matawan, passed away in California on September 2, 2017. He lived in Keansburg and California before moving to Matawan 2 years ago. He worked as a sales manager most of his working career. Salvatore was always on the go and thoroughly enjoyed taking family and friends to concerts and sporting events, you could always find him at a Chicago concert and he was a big fan of the New York Mets & Giants. His high spirit and energy was infectious. He loved to tell a good story and add his own crazy spin to it. You could not be around Sal and not laugh or smile. Nobody will ever forget his one liners, or how he always had a nickname for everyone, calling people by their actual name was just not his style. Salvatore had a heart of gold, he never would intentionally hurt anyone and he loved with all his heart and soul. He was truly one of a kind and nobody can ever say that they ever knew anyone else quite like Big Daddy! Sal was pre-deceased by his father William Parker Sr. in 2013; he is survived by his beloved mother Virginia Parker, his son Cody Parker; his daughter Taylor Parker; his step-son Nick Woung; his brother William Parker Jr.; Sisters and brother-in-law’s; Marlene and Pete Vallone; Carlene and Francis Farrell; and Kelly and Frank Derise, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and lifelong friends he has made through the years, coast to coast. A service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 3PM-8PM at Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave in Keansburg. A funeral mass will be held at St. Ann’s Church in Keansburg on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 10:15 AM, followed by entombment at Mt Olivet Cemetery in Middletown.
