Thomas H. Flynn, 87, of North Carolina, passed away on Friday May 20th, at Duke Raleigh Hospital, North Carolina. He was born in White Plains New York, Lived in Keansburg, prior to moving to North Carolina 6 years ago. Thomas was in the US Army and was a veteran of 3 wars; he was a member of the American Legion Post# 346 in Neptune, worked for BJ's in the food service department and also was a greater. Thomas loved Gardening and was involved in gray hound rescues. Thomas was pre-deceased by his wife Mary Jane Flynn in 2000 and his brother Richard Flynn. Surviving is his wife Carol Flynn of North Carolina; his son Michael Flynn of New Jersey; 3 step sons Christopher Disbrow, Bryan Disbrow and Nicholas Disbrow all of Union Beach; 2 daughters and sons in-law Karen and Raymond Jones of Lakewood and Deborah and David Schwartz of Toms River; many brothers and sisters in- law and numerous grandchildrenand great grandchildren. Family will be accepting friends on Tuesday 3-7PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. On Wednesday there will be a service held at the veteran's cemetery at 11:00AM, Wrightstown. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
