Thomas G. Van Sant Sr., 52, of Keansburg, passed away on Wednesday August 22nd, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was born in Long Branch and has been a lifelong resident of Keansburg. Thomas was a grinder for EPC Engineering, was an avid Yankees and Cowboys fan and enjoyed riding his bike. Thomas was pre-deceased by his father Joseph Van Sant and his brother Larry Van Sant. Surviving is his mother Theresa Van Sant of Keansburg; his wife Karen Van Sant of Red Bank; 3 sons and daughter in-law Thomas Van Sant Jr. of Red bank, Francis and Lorna Van Sant of Arizona and Joseph Van Sant of Red Bank; his daughter and son in-law Jacklynn and Justin Visaggio of Union Beach; 6 brothers Mark Van Sant of New Hampshire, Michael van Sant of New York, Ernie Van Sant of Keansburg, Wayne Van Sant of Hazlet, Raymond Van Sant of West Keansburg and Bill Van Sant of Oceanport; his sister Elizabeth Faulkner of New York and 4 grandchildren. Family will be accepting friends on Monday 6-8PM for a memorial service at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg.
