William Barbour

William P. Barbour, 71, of Newark, passed away on Tuesday, March 21st, at home. He was born and raised in Newark and has been a life- long resident of the area. William was an Auto Engineer for Brookwood Towing. He loved everything about cars; he enjoyed music and was a great story teller especially when he would reminisce about his younger years. Surviving is his long time mate Elmyra Tonges; his two daughters and son in-law Rose Marie and Brian Bellew of Red Bank and Billie-Jo Barbour of Keansburg; ten grandchildren Elizabeth, Michael, Samantha, Joseph, Tara, Jessica, Jimmy, William, Mikayla and Julia; four great-grandchildren Cayden, Dale, Madison and Natalie; Family will be accepting friends for a Memorial Service on Saturday 10am-12pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation was private.
