William J. Hanus, 91, of Keansburg, passed away on Sunday September 19th, at Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Holmdel. He was born in Johns Town Pennsylvania, lived in New York, prior to moving to Keansburg 20 years ago. William worked for the New York City Department of Sanitation and was a veteran of the US Army. William was pre-deceased by his wife Julia in 1980. Surviving are his 2 sons and daughters in-law. William and Jacqueline Hanus of Keansburg and Edward and Ann Hanus Stoney Point New York. 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Family will be accepting friends on Tuesday 3-7 pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. On Wednesday there will be a Mass of Christian Burial offered at 9:15AM at St. Ann's Church, Keansburg. Internment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, New York.
