William Mahoney
William J. Mahoney, 86, of Highlands, formerly of Brooklyn, N.Y., passed away Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Bayside Manor, Keansburg. He was born and raised in Brooklyn prior to moving to the Highlands in 1992. William was in the Navy during World War II and worked for IBM as a sales associate. William was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Mahoney. Surviving are his son, William Mahoney of Illinois; two daughters, Jean Gramaglia and Dena Cannon of Connecticut; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. There will be a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14 at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals, 233 Carr Ave., Keansburg. Private cremation to follow.
