William Preston

William Patrick Preston, 88, of Keansburg, diedFriday, March 14 at Riverview Medical center, Red Bank. He was born in Newark, lived in Middletown, before moving to Keansburg 42 years ago. Mr. Preston retired in 2000 as a forman of Maintenance for Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft. He was a 3rd degree Knight with the Knights?of Columbus?Council No 2858, in Middletown and also a communicant of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Keansburg. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Lorraine of Keansburg; a son, Rhys Preston of Minn,; 3 daughters,?Pamela Preston of Middletown, Leatrice Shann of Keansburg, and Jacqueline Preston of Keansburg; a brother James Preston of Middletown,a sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Al Bennett of Middletown; and 2 grandchildren. Family will be accepting friends on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 at the Jacqueline M Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave Keansburg. A Mass will be offered at St. Ann's Church on Tuesday at 10:15 am. A private cremation will take place at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. In lieu of flowers family will be accepting donations.??
