George Wittel

George Wittel 87, of Lavallette, NJ died on Saturday April 6, 2019. Born in Newark, NJ he lived in Scotch Plains, NJ and he had been a longtime summer resident of Lavallette. George was a member of the Steel Workers Union and worked for the American Can Co. for 25 years in Hillside, NJ and then a Bus driver for Oak Tree Bus Service in Edison, NJ. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Mildred (Karge) and siblings; Charles and Laverne Mazzaro. Surviving is his loving wife Dolores (Beeger). A son George C. and his wife Theresa of Bridgewater, NJ. A daughter Patti of Lavallette, NJ. Three brothers Robert, Edward and Richard. A sister Jane O’Neil. Six Grandchildren; James, Mikey, Billy, Rachel, Allison and Gwen. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for George on Thursday April 11, 2019 from 4-7pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 706 Grand Central Ave, Lavallette, NJ. The Funeral Service will be on Friday 10am at the Funeral Home.
