Anthony "Jr" Critelli

Anthony “Jr.” Critelli, age 66 of Long Branch, died surrounded by his family, on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Born in Long Branch, he was a life resident. Jr. was the Director of Public Works for the City of Long Branch retiring in 2006. He was an Ex-Captain of the Long Branch First Aid Squad and a volunteer for the Elberon First Aid Squad and the Elberon Engine Company of the Long Branch Fire Dept. He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Frances “Dolly” Critelli and his brother, Stephen Critelli. Surviving is his wife of 46 years, Donna Astorino Critelli; three sons and two daughters in law, Joseph and Tamie Critelli, Brian Critelli, Ronnie and Lori Critelli; a brother and sister in law, Larry and Michelle Critelli; a sister and brother in law, JoAnn and Lou Sylvester; two sisters in law, Linda Critelli and Gail Reichert; and four grandchildren, Rosemarie, Steven, Joseph, Jr. and Nicholas. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 27 from 4-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue, Long Branch. Funeral, Tuesday; 10 am from the funeral home with the Service to begin at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959. The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence, light a memorial candle or make a memorial donation by selecting the appropriate tab.
