Audrey H. Terwilliger Long Branch, New Jersey Obituary

Audrey H. Terwilliger

Audrey H. Terwilliger (Chickie), age 91 of Meridian Health Hospice in Neptune, died peacefully on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Audrey loved horse racing and traveled with her husband Victor to race their own. She was active in St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Long Branch and a dedicated volunteer at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. At late she enjoyed being with her son Victor, family members and her best friend Terry. Audrey was extremely active until the day when she was sadly taken away. All she wanted was to love and be loved. Sometimes family never seem to find the simple things they can easily share. I can shed tears that you are gone or I can smile that you have lived. The last few years that I have been back in your life will be cherished forever. The fun, the laugher, the classic car rides and being as one. Although you leave this world with a broken heart, you will always be in my dreams. Remember, dreams are never lost, just followed. Say hello to my wife Barbara! I am fulfilling her wishes and now will fulfill yours. Love Ya! Son Victor Audrey was predeceased by her husband, Victor: sisters, Doris and Carol; step brother, Fred; and daughter-in-law, Barbara. Surviving are her sons, Victor III of Wayside and Paul of Oceanport; grandchildren, great grandchildren and best friend Terry, who stood by her side until the journey’s end. Arrangements are private at Damiano Funeral Home in Long Branch. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 535 Broadway, Long Branch, NJ 07740. The family invites you to write a letter of condolence, share a story or make a donation by selecting the appropriate tab.
