Elaine T. Cardinale, age 84 of Manahawkin, died peacefully on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin. Born in Newark, she had lived in Long Branch and Ocean Township before moving to Manahawkin 18 years ago. Elaine was a self-employed manicurist for 47 years before retiring in 1998. Surviving are her brother, William Cardinale, Jr; a half-sister, Patricia Lehotay; her 2 nieces, Pamela Cardinale and Tara DeSantis and her husband John; a great niece and nephew, Carter and Remy LaVergne and her dear friend, Sandra Pier. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 5 pm until the time of the service at 7:30 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch.
