Mary P. Stout, age 84 of West Long Branch, died Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at home. Born in Asbury Park, she had lived in Wanamassa before moving to West Long Branch 54 years ago. Mary was a Secretary at Fort Monmouth for 25 years before retiring in 1994. She was a life-long parishioner of Holy Trinity Church of Christ the King Parish and Past President of its’ Altar Rosary Society, a member of the Long Branch Seniors, a Para Mutual Clerk at Monmouth Park and was inducted into the Monmouth County Bowing Hall of Fame.
She was predeceased by her parents, Rizzerio and Nancy Pappalardo. Surviving are her son and daughter in law, Michael and Karen Stout; her daughter Cynthia Walters; three sisters and two brothers in law, Celia Bonnano, Eleanor and Robert Goslin and Sarah and Ronald O’Neill; 7 grandchildren, Shelby, Sydney and Sadie Stout, Michaele-lyn Walton and her husband Jerrod, Steven Sigman, Jacob and Jonathan Walters, 4 great grandchildren, Kira, Olivia, Gianna and Rhett and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 26 from 4-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Ave.) in Long Branch. Funeral, Monday, 9 am from the funeral home with a 10 am Mass at Holy Trinity Church, Long Branch. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum in Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society of Christ the King Parish, 380 Division St., Long Branch, NJ 07740.
