Richard E. Bolton
Richard Edward Bolton, age 70 of Monmouth Beach, died Monday, December 11, 2017 at home. Richard was born in Brooklyn and spent most of his childhood in Germany and Japan while his father was serving our Country. After his father was discharged from the military the family settled in Belmar and Richard attended St. Rose High School and St. Peter’s College. Having to help provide for his large family, Richard began working on Wall Street at 17 years old at Blyth and Company and continued his career path in the market for the rest of life. He met and married his wife Patricia Petrantis in 1971 and they lived in Middletown before moving to Monmouth Beach 15 years ago. Richard was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Ocean. He was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Richard Bolton. Surviving are his wife Patricia; his son James Richard, his fiancé Ashli Martin and her son, Davin; his daughter Jennifer Kelly Lalis, her husband George and their son Ian Richard; 1 brother, 3 sisters and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 13, from 6 - 8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. in Long Branch. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 10 am at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1033 West Park Avenue in Ocean. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery in Neptune.
