Ruth H. Lawrence, age 75 of Long Branch, died Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Ruth was the beloved daughter of the late Richard and Helen Lawrence. She had worked over 30 years for a local construction company and was a member of the Long Branch First Aid Ladies Auxiliary and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Branchport Hose Co. Born in Long Branch she was a life resident. Ruth is survived by the love of her life, her Goddaughter, Nancy Stout and husband Kevin of Long Branch; her companion, Frank Anastasia and his granddaughter, Grace of Long Branch. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch. Interment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the K9 Sergeant Denny Project, P.O. Box 35, Holmdel, NJ 07733.
