Sonja E. White, 86 of Lincroft, died peacefully on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Sunrise Assisted Living of Lincroft. Born in East Germany, she was a ladies locker room attendant at Navesink Country Club and for 25 years worked for Riverview Medical Center Housekeeping. She was predeceased by her husband, Theodore White in 2003. Surviving are her son, Glenn White; two daughters, Christina Fornicola and Jeanette Hernandez; her special friend, Robert Taylor; 7 grandchildren, Eric White, Matthew McIntyre, Lacey Hernandez, Alyssa Fornicola, Nicholas Hernandez, Lauren Fornicola and Lindsey Hernandez and 2 great grandchildren, Geovanni Vamvas and Caleb McIntyre. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 10 from 12:00 pm until the time of the service at 1:30 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. in Long Branch.
